Notice is hereby given that the
2023 Annual General Meeting of
Musical Society Mildura (Inc)
will take place on Wednesday 18th October at 7:30pm at the Nichols Point Hall (Fifth Street, Nichols Point)
All interested people, society members and life members are encouraged to attend.
Committee members will be elected for the coming year. Every adult financial member and life member has a vote for who makes it onto the committee in the event of a vote.
A vote occurs if there is more than 1 person nominated for an executive position (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) or if there are more than 13 nominations in total for committee. (Committee total is capped at 13 members)
Nominations for committee
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about local theatre, have an understanding of the needs of our society and who aren’t afraid to give it a go.
Nominations & Proxy Forms can be submitted to the Secretary at least 24 hours before the meeting by emailing email@example.com at least 24hrs before the meeting.
Nominations will however be taken from the floor during the meeting, as per our constitution. All positions are vacated during the AGM and our committee is capped at 13 members.
If a paid adult member or life member cannot attend the meeting they can arrange to have a paid member or life member who is able to attend act as their proxy.
A signed proxy form must be returned via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or via post to PO Box 212 Mildura, Vic 3502 24 hours before the meeting so that proper arrangements can be made for the meeting.
