Not only an amazing performance on stage in the character of Sophie Sheridan in Mamma Mia, but behind the scenes she showed that she is a worthy recipient for her positive, courteous attitude. Musical Society Mildura held its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 12 October 2021, which was well attended by members and friends of the society.Attached below is the minutes of the meeting as well as the presidents report. We’re excited to announce our leading cast for Mamma Mia! Due to the overwhelming interest in being a part of both ensemble and chorus we will be announcing in a separate post once all cast have been confirmed.

A massive thankyou to everyone that attended the Mamma Mia Information session. It was fantastic to see so many people interested in wanting to be a part of such a magical musical. So far the audition bookings for the female characters are doing well, however the male characters and ensemble positions need higher numbers. If you are on the fence, take the plunge! Musical Society Mildura held it’s annual general meeting on Tuesday 8th of September, and it was well attended by members and friends of the society. We must thank Glen Barrow and the Mildura Theatre Company for hosting the Zoom meeting and Peter Lang for chairing the meeting during the election of the new committee.
